Tanja Powers
I understand the real challenges of balancing life with work, leading through change, complexity, and uncertainty.
Along with ICF accreditation and a coaching certificate from the rigorous Hudson Institute of Leadership Coaching, I have 33 years of experience in the pharma / biotech industry spanning sales, marketing, account management, patient access, blockbuster product launches, P&L responsibility, as well as non-profit leadership and board experience.

Great coaching changed my life, and my goal is to bring that same impact to others. The best coaches believed in me, challenged me, and helped me grow through tough and supportive conversations. I coach with the same spirit – equal parts fierce advocate and trusted guide – helping leaders find their inner compass and lead with strength, purpose and integrity.
Beyond my coaching work, I am committed to continual learning and supporting my community, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare and social justice. I am a member of SV2, an advisory board member of Facing History and Ourselves and I work part-time at Cristo Rey High School in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
